Alright, so I just got done spackling the walls in my room because I don't want to get charged money at the end of my lease for wanting to put things up on my walls. My room is kinda boring, and really really girlie and little kiddish looking. I finally realized what Christina said is right, if there was ever a situation where a guy was in my room he would think he was hanging out with a 12 year old. EEKS! But maybe my mini poster of Jeff Buckley and my ABT calendar will persuade him otherwise.

I have a lot to think of in the next coming months...how I am going to pay for my 4 fabulous years of schooling here at Purdue and also if I want to take a vacation, and if so, where to? I am planning on going sometime in April, maybe late March after all those krazy college kids have went on spring break. I want to go somewhere I haven't been, but within my budget. I am planning on going when I know I will have a week's worth of paid vacation so that it's not like I just had some fun and then come back to no source of income. Also, I am so frustrated sometimes because I just don't know what I want to do with my life as far as where I would like to locate to and what kind of occupation I'll be having for the next 40 yrs or however long til I retire. It sounds so boring to just work for 40 yrs and then retire. I know I want a job that I won't get bored with, and that I can survive financially on, comfortably. I want a sense of security. Maybe all I really want is just to be able to do whatever I want (travel, cook, raise a family, shop, etc.) and have someone take care of me.

Anywho, time to clean up the kitchen and living room...it's a mess.

Worked today from 8-ish to 4-ish. It started off slow, but then picked up a bit. Wounded my thumb at work...yup, got two splinters. But I am okay now so all is good. heh. Anywho, watched the Colts game, fell asleep during part of it, what a crummy game that turned out to be.

Then for the rest of the evening I watched the Golden Globe Awards...what a good use of my time, huh? Of course I did other things in between - listened to music, ordered some cds, balanced my checkbook, ordered a book through Amazon, and emailed my parents.

Not really much else to say, kind of an uneventful day. Maybe tomorrow will bring great excitement!

All for now!

Cannot Sleep

Alright, so I cannot sleep so I figured I would just write on here until my eyes start to hurt from looking at my computer. Plus Hillary said I should update my blog and I pretty much give into peer pressure.

Today I really did not get much accomplished, I applied for one job, did some laundry, and ate a sandwich for lunch. Then went to Don Pablo's at 7pm for Jen's "cast-off" get-together. Adam showed up and then later Ben. It was a pretty good time and of course good food. I thought it was weird that they put whip cream on their dacquiris. (sp?) And it was a bit funny when I ordered my drink, the server asked if I wanted it virgin...I'm 22 gosh! jk, you kinda had to be there to understand what exactly happened.

After dinner I came home and got all prepped for bed then watched Law & Order. Tonight was Elisabeth Rohm's last episode. The DA fired her because she let her emotions get in the way of her judgment as to whether or not the person they were prosecuting was guilty/innocent. When the DA spit out the words "You're fired", Serena (Elisabeth's char.) asked "Is it because I'm a lesbian?" And the DA said no...no...no, of course not. I was like, where on earth did this come from. Sure Serena has stuck up for women's rights on episodes before, but what woman wouldn't do so these days? From what I can remember it was never hinted at that Serena was a lesbian. But whateva...they will do what they want. heh.

I should probably try to fall asleep, seeing as how I am working from 5am-1:30pm and then working 2:45pm-5:15pm and then fitting some running (well for me slow jogging) with Jenny. And getting some other stuff done in between...but we'll see how it goes.

All for now!

Sad Day

I was getting ready to leave for work and checked on my hamster Barley, and she didn't look like she was breathing so I blew air at her and she didn't move...then I dropped some food in there and nothing, then I lifted up the top of her space shuttle and she didn't move...=/. Like I know that hamsters only live 2 at most 3 years and James and I bought her in August of 2003. She had a good life, it's just sad...and of course I cried, it was the first small pet I have ever had. But anywho...

R.I.P. Barley.

All for now.

Gosh!

Okay, so how lame is this? I couldn't remember my username and password for blogger...shows you how much I remember to post on here. Anywho. I just set up my account on FaceBook. I was going to put a picture up, but I don't have any good pics of myself on my computer and I am not yet in the digital camera age, heh.

I got Hillary to swap me Napoleon Dynamite for my copy of He's Just Not That Into You. Sure I fell asleep during part of it (was going on two hours of sleep), but I did see most of the movie and I enjoyed it. I will prob watch it tomorrow before work since I prob won't do too much else tomorrow.

Today was a pretty good day. I woke up coughing up a lung cause I am still a little ill and then got ready for work. Work was pretty good, worked most of the time with Adam M. and Ben. I saw a few ppl I hadn't seen in awhile which was nice...Mary Beth (grande, sometimes venti coffee), Karen (iced venti latte), woman that I don't know her name but gets a tall nonfat mocha in a grande cup with triple whip, and my pal that I can't remember her name (how awful) - tutors international students who wish could speak English as well as I do, let her borrow some cds and she gave me a copy of David Sedaris' Naked on audio tape (which was very good I might add). Then went home, filled out my application for Sarge Oaks and Hillary came over and hung out a bit then rode with me to Sarge Oaks and Outback...we sang some George Strait, Randy Travis, Madonna, and BSB. Then came home, watched tv with Christina and chatted about random stuff.

Well, dunno what else to write about right now...gonna work on cleaning my room...like I plan everyday.

PEACE!
