Well, it happened...Christina decided to highlight her hair and let's just say this about it...It looks freakin awesome. I am just relieved that it came out well because my previous experience highlighting hair was bad and it resulted in the person just buzzing all of their hair (and yes, I cried because I felt horrible about it).
Anywho, so tomorrow is Ginger's birthday and I am excited (that reminds me I should make her a card before I go to work tomorrow and have ppl sign it for her, yay!) I am excited for Ginger I am sure her birthday will be a blast. However there is part of me that wants to go home and visit with my parents before they leave for vacation. They did come up last week to visit and we had lunch together, but like I have Saturday off so I could possibly go home tomorrow afternoon and spend time until Saturday evening and come back, but I think Ginger would not be happy (not that I am the life of the party, but just cause it is her birthday). I am also worried about my mom because she has been working a lot recently and she has always felt tired and more so than usual. So she has been to the hospital a few times to get checked out and has had some sleep tests done and it turns out she has the ever so popular sleep apnea, but in her case she is like only getting maybe an hour to two hours worth of quality sleep. NOT GOOD!
Not too much else going on at the moment. I know only like maybe two ppl read my blog, but if for some reason any other ppl are reading this, come check out my friends Mike Davis (James' cousin and Jenny's bf) and Andrew Caito (whom I used to have a crush on=Þ) at Starbucks next Friday evening. They will be fusing together their musical tastes and stylings for you! (yeah, that was supposed to sound lame) And just some background on them, Mike is also in a Jazz Ensemble here at Purdue, he plays bass and also plays bass for the band Exit Fowler. Andrew plays bass in the band Jackson Pain which is popular in the Indy Circuit. Both of the bands differ as far as what they like to play and the sound that each one has so this should be good to see how Andrew and Mike bring together all of their musical goodness.
Anywho, I am off to make Ginger a birthday card and to make little fliers for the gig next Saturday!
All for now!

Sometimes I Just Don't Know
Okay, so I had a three day stint at Scotty's =/. But come on, let's face it I am known for getting in over my head with a lot of things in my life, this being just one of many. The whole working like 7 hours on this past Monday and then like 10 hours at Scotty's at night is what did me in...come on! I may be only 22, but I cannot work that many hours in one day and then have to do it again the next day. So anyways, hope no one out there will think I'm just a quitter...cause I am not. Although there was that one time when my dad and I had a long talk and he said that all I did was quit things, which was true of back then. It was my senior year in high school and I told my band director I didn't want to be Drum Major anymore, quit Jazz Band, and a few other things. I went through this phase where I didn't think it was cool anymore and it didn't help that our band director was slightly psycho, in that he freaked out at every little thing...he just needed to relax=Þ
But anyways, maybe I made a little bit of money out of the three days I worked at Scotty's. Anywho.
I know this is a hard time for some ppl right now in their lives, with college and finding jobs and even just realizing what you want to do for the rest of your life and what kind of person you hope to be. I won't name anyone, but if any of you ever read this, just know that we are all going to have tough times and that just because you quit something or didn't get where you thought you would be right now and life, or you just don't know what the hell it is you want to do, it doesn't mean that your life is going to be bad and that you'll never get where you want to be or that you can't be happy with what you have around you...including friends and family that care about you and will always be there for you, good times and bad! (I know...I am guilty of having written every cliché possible about this sort of thing).
Anyways, that's all for now.
Much love;)
