I think you're selling Weezer short--Cassie and I saw them on tour for the red album in San Jose, and it was AWESOME! Though I do wonder about their making an album that is effectively about a show I thought was a pretty big waste of time...
Also, now that I think about it, wouldn't a one-night show made entirely of Pinkerton be kind of dreary? One must admit that seeing Rivers getting out and being happy is a good thing, though.
Perhaps. I honestly didn't give the Red album much of a listen. And, yeah...not sure what to think of the new album they are working on. I didn't get into Lost, either.
Even if I'm not all sad panda about love, etc., Pinkerton is one of my favorite albums. I like to think that a happy Rivers will sing each song with a smile, especially since he got his Japanese girl in the end=)

Or did he? Cassie insists that Rivers is too clever--that everything we hear about him is a total fabrication. One wonders...
